If down the line I wanted to upgrade to say the 13nm wheel can I just buy a motor and use my current control box or do I have to get the whole set.</p>

<p dir="auto">Thanks for the quick reply. So is the 7 a completely different motor and control unit to all the other ones or is it capable of putting out a bit more with a new control box?</p>

<p dir="auto">The control units are designed around the motor and internal components are selected to suit. Firmware is then built for this unique hardware combination.</p>
<p dir="auto">It is thus not possible to replace the motor and still have a functional wheelbase.</p>
<p dir="auto">Wheelbases that share the same motor can be upgraded with a control unit exchange but the inverse is not the case.</p>
