It;'s very quiet. Could @Sim-plicity-Dev give something of an update about what's being worked on, what's in the pipeline and if there is any timeline?

Not at all. All "new feature" development is being queued pending the hardware platform release referenced above.
Bug fixes are being handled within the 21.07.xx development stream

The latest alpha firmware is 21.07.02 and is from Nov 21, 2021
The latest beta firmware is 21.07.04 and is from Jan 31, 2022
The latest stable firmware is 21.07.05 and is from Aug 17, 2022The alpha branch is the oldest and the stable branch is the most recent, but hasn't been updated since august 17th 2022. That's over a year without any activity or updates whatsoever. Am I missing something?
Is there a way to run the control electronics on open source drivers? Like from the OSW project?

I don't think anyone is doing any development on the product now. It seems that nobody has replied in a long time!
I mean to be fair the product is fairly faultless but some updates would be nice as it still has the odd niggle.

@thedozyone I disagree with you. I've spent a considerable amount of money on them in the understanding that it would be supported for a long time. The hardware is indeed fairly faultless (I really love it), but the software leaves a lot to be desired. Just look at the offerings of other suppliers; a more intuitive (and better looking) UI, software that is signed to work in Windows (it's a 'fingers crossed' affair right now), better working profiles with a games launcher, and then there's the (lack of) support for future titles if nothing is updated.
I love buying stuff from smaller companies and supporting them, but their lack of cummunication and updates leaves me wondering if it was a smart move.
Does anybody follow their Facebook group? I don't use FB but perhaps they're sharing information there.

That's fine for you to disagree, I too made a considerable purchase (I purchased mine around 2020 at the covid price increase) I just think maybe someone needs to take a look.
For me it would be nice for a better UI but it's not a showstopper for me.
I'm on the FB group but don't think there's anything extra up there. I will try pinging them a message there.

@thedozyone I purchased my SW20 V3 in march 2021 and I agree to some extent that its not a showstopper if the UI doesn't improve. As long as the base performs as it should. But without updates its only a matter of time before something stops working.
Thank you for checking the Facebook group. Pitty that communications is silent there also...

I've posted a message in the RaceDepartment forums, but nobody seems to know the state or whereabouts of Sim-pli.city... The main page hasn't been updated in a while and all products are out of stock, except the newer range of DD products where the controller is integrated with the wheel motor assembly (if I recall correctly). But they are in presale.
@Sim-plicity-Dev @Sim-plicity_Admin any news?

I tried contacting them via the sales / dev emails and still no response so guessing the dev is dead here now.
Unless @Sim-plicity-Dev @Sim-plicity_Admin can prove me wrong??

There appears to be life at sim-pli.city. At least on their homepage. I now see the landing page has a 'Featured products' section and that section contains the newer compact series wheelbases. But most importantly; the screenshot of the wheelbase settings window show 'v24.02.01' as version number! Could be just a build with that version number changed, ofcourse.

I've (again) tried to reach out to sim.pli.city, this time by submitting an issue on the github page of their stable releases repository. Perhaps they monitor that more closely than these forums.
