Glad to hear the modifications were successful. The Max Voltage Rise should now be lower ( around the values you are seeing) as the power bleed-off now starts much earlier to manage an increase in generated energy when you are counter-steering

Yes indeed this only manifests in drifting and not in regular road course driving/racing.
Removing any logic that governs wheel behaviour during very fast transitions, does not result in distortion of the normal, true simulation of the natural behavior of a real steering wheel, during very fast transitions?

Thanks for trying that out. Next step will be to modify the firmware to

• remove any logic that governs wheel behaviour during very fast transitions
• more aggressively bleed off voltage rises that will occur as a result of this change

These are still investigative steps to isolate the root cause as I'm assuming this only manifests in drifting and not in regular road course driving/racing

I try this settings and report back the behaviour

I have tried these settings and the strange behavior remains.
I can say that it is for example that this kind of behavior is somewhat similar to the situation when you ride a bike, pedal up a ramp and suddenly the chain comes off the gear sheet, you pedal on idle for a second, then the chain resets itself on the gear sheet and everything returns to normal.
This kind of strange behaviour occurs (When drifting on Assetto Corsa, in transitions, when I try to adjust the steering wheel to center from counter-steer to right when turning left or (from counter-steer to left when turning right), the steering wheel has a moment in this adjustment process from counter-steer to center when it suddenly turns itself in the opposite direction (the steering wheel becomes very light, it seems to lose FFB at that moment) without me being able to control or adjust this behavior, and the car spins or hits the wall.)
I have tried various settings, including those recommended for Drift Profile, but unfortunately the result is the same.
I simply don't know how to solve this problem. Could it be the granular adjustment of the FFB?
Do I have to reinstall the Base Driver Package and SW30 Firmware?

Can you try the following and report back?

Create a custom Drift Profile
Set Max Speed to 250 rpm
Set Weight to 0
Set Controller Mode to 0
Set Controller Bandwidth to 0.5 or higher
Set Weighted Center Range to 0
Set Weighted Center Gain to 0
