(iRacing)

I use mostly iRacing. And recently I've been using the possibility to utilize the optimum clutch bite point during standing starts. I use UCR.exe (https://github.com/snoothy/ucr/releases) for this together with vJoy, according to this how-to from Dan Suzuki: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHvve_GoEz0&ab_channel=DanSuzuki

This all works fine, but every time I want to use it, I'm in the sim already, and then I launch UCR. Every time I do this, the FFB seems to reset, or for better word: stop working. Wheel is completely dead, no forces at all.

I can only 'fix' this at that time by switching off the SW20v3 controller box and switching it on again.

Any idea what's happening here, and how to fix this more elegantly ?

Your description suggests UCR is grabbing control of the FFB channel from iRacing (probably on startup).
You can get iRacing to wrest control back by disabling then re-enabling FFB within the Options>Force Feedback menu

Make sure you exit the Options screen between disabling and enabling.
