@cpitt001 Glad to hear the modifications were successful. The Max Voltage Rise should now be lower ( around the values you are seeing) as the power bleed-off now starts much earlier to manage an increase in generated energy when you are counter-steering

@Noppishen Glad to hear you're back up and running. Unfortunately, we are dependent on a functional Windows USB HID stack which can be a bit of a black box when things go wrong. As you've identified, good thing Microsoft have made reinstalls relatively easy.

@byagm The fixes are incorporated in v21.07.01 which is being released to "Alpha" on Monday 8th November

@lokcy Thanks for the update. It does appear the new version does not agree with supporting files from the previous versions. We'll take a look at the Presets Installer to see if it is still required /relevant to the new version.

@rorymacduff Unfortunately not. The circuitry in question requires complete disassembly of the densely packed controller to troubleshoot and resolve. Given the zero-downtime requirement and presumably a preference for resolution before the Monza round in October, can you contact Sales to see if any suitable options can be arranged.

I checked what updates I got installed after I did the recovery. @Sim-plicity-Dev I played again yesterday and it had the lack of FFB issue came back. I deleted the ACC profile, but all the settings were still there so I reassigned the wheel anyway and the problem was still there. I then tried playing not in VR and it was ok and then went back to VR (hp reverb) and it was fine again, so I'm wondering if something is glitching with the VR software maybe?

@byagm Not sure I've tried it since the firmware has had game mode, will have to try again. I posted this one last year

@sim-plicity-dev hey, would the sw10 esports be enough for drifting & going competitive? compact is sold out anyway and idk which I should decide for, because the encoders don't tell me anything A DD is the best choice for sure, and I think sim-plicity has the best price range for the fact that is also doesn't need a wheel adapter. I know I'm pretty late to the thread, didn't find anything else, hopefully u still here.

@xB Most of the steps occur outside our software and are down to whatever tool or utility you use to launch your sim environment. The command line switch above allows 3rd party utilities to load a previously saved profile without the user having to "mouse navigate" as you would normally do. You can thus customise the wheelbase's behaviour to suit different sims/environments without having to manually select the profiles. Where the command is entered would be dictated by the utility in use.

@Discopooh I saw that as well and took it as a sign that there seems to be life at Sim-pli.city. But it could just as easily have been an older firmware built with only a changed version number. We've heard so little from the company that I have to see it before I believe it.

@thedozyone I've had some more contact and their 24 version drivers are for the newer wheelbases. For the older ones (like my SW20 V3) they do update their preset package. They answer fairly quickly when you ask them via the contact form on their website. I'm assuming they just don't browse there forums anymore. So sim-pli.city seems oke, just not very communicative and very little driver development for their older wheelbases.

@choice Correct, "Presets" are only created for sims with configuration options that are not accessible in-sim while requiring modification for an optimal experience.
