I’ve since tried it. It’s fine. I’m sure it’s a very competent piece of software. Despite my initial enthusiasm for it, it now leaves me a bit meh. 360hz seems smoother but I have returned to native 60hz ffb with no ill effects. I didn’t like having too many apps open. I’m looking forward to Sim-plicity getting access to native 360 ffb.

@loermansa thank you Arjan, and sorry for the late reply. I did actually get it going, but now I had to restore the pc to an earlier point and I forgot how I got it running again lol.uat be the order that I installed everything. Have to work that out again. Cheers for the reply

@Rowland There's always some power usage, even if devices are in standby... I have all of my rig devices (steeringwheel, usb-hub, control unit, bass kicker amp, button box) running through a single powerstrip that has a physical on/off switch. That way I am sure nothing draws any power when not in use.

@Sim-plicity-Dev Thanks for sharing these. I've been using them for iRacing for a while now but realise you were sharing above in reference to Oval racing - what would you tweak for open-wheel road racing and GT3’s?

@lokcy Thanks for the update. It does appear the new version does not agree with supporting files from the previous versions. We'll take a look at the Presets Installer to see if it is still required /relevant to the new version.

Indeed it is the QR on the steering wheel side that is starting to loosen up, in addition to that, the base of my aluminum profiled playseat was slightly unscrewed.. which makes with the power of the engine produced, it's a snap at each change of direction. "Center Wheel" in the simplicity software has always worked for me even if its just a few degrees out.

@frijsdijk Your description suggests UCR is grabbing control of the FFB channel from iRacing (probably on startup). You can get iRacing to wrest control back by disabling then re-enabling FFB within the Options>Force Feedback menu Make sure you exit the Options screen between disabling and enabling.

@Sim-plicity-Dev I played again yesterday and it had the lack of FFB issue came back. I deleted the ACC profile, but all the settings were still there so I reassigned the wheel anyway and the problem was still there. I then tried playing not in VR and it was ok and then went back to VR (hp reverb) and it was fine again, so I'm wondering if something is glitching with the VR software maybe?

@sim-plicity-dev New cable (Ugreen 2m shielded USB2 A to B, for reference) seems to have done the trick, will leave it on for a while to see if there's any drops but so far so good. @txinas Easiest way is to open a new command window, drag the Presets Installer executable into the command window type " /p:rbr" after the path (without the quotes, make sure to include the space) Hit Enter If you have any issues, post a screenshot of the command window

@buscho6 From a end-use perspective, the key difference is the extra 5Nm. We design each wheelbase around the motor, selecting components & developing firmware to most efficiently deliver a given level of performance for any attainable torque level. This approach means the visual difference is limited to a larger control box for the SW25 (264mm x 246mm x 127mm) compared to the SW20 V3 (131mm vs 246mm x 127mm).
