If the wheelbase has endstops after initializing, the controller is reacting (as programmed) to disturbances on the USB bus.

Disconnect all USB devices except your keyboard, mouse & the controller.
If the disconnects persist, change the controller USB cable, otherwise add your USB devices one at a time till the disconnects start up again. This will help identify the noisy device.

@sim-plicity-dev You are 100% right. After pulling all usb devices except mouse and keyboard and the controller box it works perfect again... I will test further what device causes this but masssive thanks for the help!

@sim-plicity-dev hi so once again coming back from my problem when starting up my wheel base it makes 3 or 4 times a usb disconnect sound before turning on. Is there anyway to fix this? it worked fine for a few days after i unplugged all usb devices and replugged them but now i have the same problem.

The long-term fix is to identify the "noisy" USB device and address the cause of the disturbance,

The wheel monitors the USB bus by exchanging a 1000 heartbeats per second with the PC. If 100 of these are missed in a row, the USB interface on the wheel is reset and waits for the PC to reconnect. This is purely in reaction to a loss of communication with the PC and as such is an effect rather than cause of an issue. These resets are logged in the "Telemetry" tab of the desktop app.

Can you post screenshots of the "Telemetry" tab immediately after start-up & then after the unit has been up for at least an hour?

Can you try the following for the next few days and report back?

Before powering on the unit, rotate the steering wheel 30 degrees away from the normal starting position, then power on.
