@sim-plicity-dev New cable (Ugreen 2m shielded USB2 A to B, for reference) seems to have done the trick, will leave it on for a while to see if there's any drops but so far so good. [image: 1674732507254-86b77e52-2ebf-48f4-b40c-ba89c99dabfc-image.png] Will report back if any issues occur. Cheers, Dan

@txinas Easiest way is to open a new command window, drag the Presets Installer executable into the command window type " /p:rbr" after the path (without the quotes, make sure to include the space) Hit Enter If you have any issues, post a screenshot of the command window

@storris A USB Reset is the controller forcibly removing itself from the USB bus. This only happens if the controller detects a connection to the PC but is unable to communicate. If the USB cable is physically removed from either controller or PC, the controller detects this and disables USB monitoring till the cable is reconnected. As no resets are logged, this implies the controller has detected the connection is gone and is on standby. This means we need to look outside the controller for the cause of the physical connection dropout. This could be hardware (cable, connectors, USB controller), software (Windows drivers, settings etc) or firmware (motherboard BIOS). The controller does exercise the USB bus quite heavily with a thousand 2-way transmissions per second. Any latent issues with the USB subsystem will thus manifest first in devices that are heavy users. Searching for "amd usb issues vr" brings up a few reports similar to yours. This one details the steps that worked in his instance

@buscho6 From a end-use perspective, the key difference is the extra 5Nm. We design each wheelbase around the motor, selecting components & developing firmware to most efficiently deliver a given level of performance for any attainable torque level. This approach means the visual difference is limited to a larger control box for the SW25 (264mm x 246mm x 127mm) compared to the SW20 V3 (131mm vs 246mm x 127mm).

@cpitt001 Glad to hear the modifications were successful. The Max Voltage Rise should now be lower ( around the values you are seeing) as the power bleed-off now starts much earlier to manage an increase in generated energy when you are counter-steering

@sim-plicity-dev , you say me the upper limit of "Max Voltage Rise' for the SW30 would be around 14V. When drift on Assetto Corsa I registered the value of 15.88V I must be worried about this value of 15.88V? Is there something wrong with the encoder or the wheelbase?[image: 1671920879767-mvr.png] Thank you!

@jeanv78 Generally, you would choose Sim Mode unless the title in question requires Game Mode to function. The Presets Installer creates both entries and leaves the choice to you.

I checked what updates I got installed after I did the recovery. The only ones that cought my eye are the following : KB5019959 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/november-8-2022-kb5019959-os-builds-19042-2251-19043-2251-19044-2251-and-19045-2251-f65e0600-2135-4efd-a979-08d1df34dce8) KB5001716 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb5001716-update-for-windows-update-service-components-fb9dd3d3-d702-4f8a-af10-b9551cfa6e13) Besides these two, there are a lot of signature updates for MS Defender.

@sim-plicity-dev That's very good news. I'm all in for this. That's going to be the first wheelbase lineup (let alone first DDs) on the market to offer Linux support.

@sim-plicity-dev said in FW 20.02.01 on Windows 11?: @aotto1977 We've not encountered any issues running Windows 11. Well, this is strange: Today I did a fresh install of Windows 11. While the wheel itself works fine (with the last preset I applied, I guess), I cannot open the firmware. Just nothing happens, no error message - nothing. Any idea? EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot to install the base driver package.

@rorymacduff Unfortunately not. The circuitry in question requires complete disassembly of the densely packed controller to troubleshoot and resolve. Given the zero-downtime requirement and presumably a preference for resolution before the Monza round in October, can you contact Sales to see if any suitable options can be arranged.

@sim-plicity-dev Thanks! Yeah it worked but I had to still manually find and add the DLLs to the correct folder. All seems good now, thank you
